Paper Tournament

A "paper" tournament. where we catch, measure, and release our fish on the water.

We started at 7:00 a.m. and fish for 6 hours, returning to the dock at 1:00 p.m.

We measured our fish on the water using the clubs "bump boards".  All boards are the same.

Upon returning to the launch, each member turns in his paper with the best 5 fish circles.

Members gather as the computer does it's thing.

Our club has a program, developed internally, that then take those length and converts them to the weight of an average bass of that length using the NYS DEC's "weight your fish with a ruler" 

Lance Barnes 6th place, "Just out of the money".  A $25.00 gift card from Bass Pro.

The "Bass Pro just out of the money" award which is a $25.00 gift card is won by Lance Barnes. He finished with a paper weight of 8.56 pounds in 6th place

Joe Valero and Connell Raate tie for big bass sponsored by Bass Pro. Also a $25.00 gift card plus BB money.

The Bass Pro Big Bass Award is awarded to Joe Valero and Connell Raate who caught a 19 3/4" bass. ( 4.43 pounds )

 

Connell Raate takes 5th place.

Fifth place is won by Connell Raate with three fish with a paper weight of 8.66 pounds.

Fourth place goes to Dave Donhauser with a paper weight of 8.69 pounds.

Third place is won by T.J. Church with a paper weight of 9.31 pounds

Second place went to Fred Chilluffo with a paper weight of 12.69 pounds.

And first place goes to Joe Valerio with a paper weight of 13.54 pounds.

Congratulations Joe. Nice catch on a day that the fish were not biting well.
