Oneida River Sunday, May 30th 2010 Paper Tournament A "paper" tournament. where we catch, measure, and release our fish on the water.
Boats on the water ready to start fishing We started at 7:00 a.m. and fish for 6 hours, returning to the dock at 1:00 p.m.
T.J. Church and Jack Wilson lll We measured our fish on the water using the clubs "bump boards". All boards are the same.
Bill Kays and Jack Wilson ll Upon returning to the launch, each member turns in his paper with the best 5 fish circles.
Members gather as the computer does it's thing. Our club has a program, developed internally, that then take those length and converts them to the weight of an average bass of that length using the NYS DEC's "weight your fish with a ruler"
Lance Barnes 6th place, "Just out of the money". A $25.00 gift card from Bass Pro. The "Bass Pro just out of the money" award which is a $25.00 gift card is won by Lance Barnes. He finished with a paper weight of 8.56 pounds in 6th place
Joe Valero and Connell Raate tie for big bass sponsored by Bass Pro. Also a $25.00 gift card plus BB money. The Bass Pro Big Bass Award is awarded to Joe Valero and Connell Raate who caught a 19 3/4" bass. ( 4.43 pounds )
Connell Raate takes 5th place. Fifth place is won by Connell Raate with three fish with a paper weight of 8.66 pounds.
Joe Valerio makes the award Fourth place goes to Dave Donhauser with a paper weight of 8.69 pounds.
Joe makes the award. Third place is won by T.J. Church with a paper weight of 9.31 pounds
Second place went to Fred Chilluffo with a paper weight of 12.69 pounds.
Dick makes the award again And first place goes to Joe Valerio with a paper weight of 13.54 pounds.
